Fort Collins Symphony kicks off new season with generous slice of Americana Pie

Fort Collins Symphony patrons were treated to an evening of works that spanned musical genres from blues to gospel and even rock, as well as the beloved and quintessentially American Appalachian Spring by Copland.

If that wasn’t enough to set listeners on their ears, two Fort Collins Symphony Association board members—John Roberts and Jane Sullivan, hid and then popped out of a giant box on sitting on the stage to announce and promote the Symphony’s concurrent and exciting Outside the Box season.

This first masterworks performance paves the way for the rest of the Symphony’s Phenomenally Yours season—so stay tuned!
